The Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival concludes its 27th edition with a powerful live by Metaman, following the official closing ceremony. Athens-based producer and co-founder of WonTon Records released his debut album IRINA, which earned him a place in that year’s best-of album lists, teaming up with Lena Platonos in the titular song. Two years later, his fixation with analog synths, neverending synth sequences and the narrations of everyday city people was carried on in his sophomore LP titled MATAIOSI. In the end of 2024, his latest album METAMAN Vs Dr Rave was released by Inner Ear Records, topping the lists with the best albums of the year. Synthesizers take center stage in his live shows, constantly shifting from a hypnotizing trip hop to acid rave.
