FINOS FILM SPECIAL SCREENING: ”HAPPY BEGINNING”

The Thessaloniki Film Festival is organizing in collaboration with Finos Film, a special screening of the film Happy Beginning (1954) by Dinos Dimopoulos. In the film, Athens Radio announces a competition for commercial broadcasts. Two trios enter: three male composers and three female lyricists. Though they begin by undermining each other in pursuit of the prize, they eventually bond, professionally and emotionally. Finos Film presents one of its original comedies at the Festival’s 67th edition in a rare screening. The film marks the big-screen debut of beloved Greek actress Maro Kontou.
