Cinema with a View 2026

The magical and refreshing nights of “Cinema with a View” are back in action this summer, promising us a series of unique cinema getaways, featuring a programme of splendid films screened at Thessaloniki’s most beloved open-air cinema.

Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Thessaloniki Concert Hall join forces for the 12th year in a row, setting up the most exquisite open-air cinema of the city, situated at the most breathtaking point of Thessaloniki, the rooftop of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall M2 Building, with a magnificent view on the Thermakos Bay. “Cinema with a View”, a cherished cinephile summer hub, kicked off in 2015, and still stands out as the top night-out destinations in the city.

Gut-wrenching It Was Just an Accident by Jafar Panahi, Golden Palm winner in last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Daring and lovable I Swear by Kirk Jones, which won BAFTA Awards for Best Casting and Best in a Leading Role

Amélie Bonnin’s debut Leave One Day, which raised the curtain in last year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Calle Málaga by Maryam Touzani, which won the Audience Award at the Venice Spotlight section of the Venice Film Festival.

La Grazia by Paolo Sorrentino, which earned Toni Servillo the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival.
