DREAM OF ANOTHER SUMMER

A woman’s collapse amid contemporary ruins sparks an exploration of humanity's connection to physical spaces and a city's resilience in the face of mortality. Dream of Another Summer tells the story of the encounter between a woman, Alicia, and a city, Beirut, in order to explore how the spaces we inhabit relate to us, and reflect on buildings’ destruction and preservation when being spaces of collective memory. At times a love letter and at times a journey into space and time, the film traces the relationship of cities with life, progress, and destruction.
