How did a location-scouting trip to Northern Evia during EFP3 lead to a major Greek-Spanish Co-production? A team of women producers looks back on the journey.

Amanda Livanou studied History and Political Science at the London School of Economics before returning to Athens where she started to work in film commercials and TV production. During her 25-year career she has produced, co-produced and line-produced more than 40 feature films and documentaries. In 2014 she established Neda Film. She is an EAVE, EAVE+, ACE and Sundance Creative Producing Alumna and a member of the European and Hellenic Film Academies having served on the Board of the latter; she was elected Vice-Chair of the Hellenic Producers Association (SAPOE) in 2023.

Katerina Tzourou holds an MA in Film from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2021, she has been part of Neda Film. Her credits include the award-winning short Carcass (DISFF 2025) and the feature Stand Up, which premiered at the Tribeca IFF 2026. She is developing Disqualifié, presented at the Les Arcs Coproduction Village 2025, and Volta, funded by EKKOMED. She serves as Associate Producer on Hot Spot, which will premiere at Fantasia IFF 2026 and is distributed globally by Focus Features. She has recently completed filming on the Spanish–Greek co-production Yerma. She has been part of the Agora Market teams at both the Thessaloniki Film and Documentary Festivals. From 2021 to 2025, she worked as Executive Assistant to the board of SAPOE and is a current member.

Anna Zografou works in film production, with many years of experience in Greek and international film and television productions. She has worked as a production manager and line producer on significant projects such as Wind Over the City by Petros Sevastikoglou, Monday by Argyris Papadimitropoulos, Animal, To the North, Holy Emy, Two Tickets to Greece, and L’enfant qui mesurait le monde, among others. She collaborates closely with Greek and international directors and producers, coordinating productions in Greece and abroad. Through her work, she actively supports international co-productions and connects Greek cinema with the international film community.
