Open Air Screening of the film "Nouvelle Vague" by Richard Linklater

Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Stereosis Photo Center join forces through the open-air screening of the film Nouvelle Vague (2025) by Richard Linklater, scheduled for Thursday July 2nd, at 22:00, at the Garden of the Afternoon Sun of the New Waterfront of Thessaloniki with a free admission for the audience.

The film reenacts the creative turmoil of a world-changing era for French and world cinema, unraveling the unseen stories behind legendary Breathless (1960), Jean-Luc Godard's debut, and one of the films that radically and indelibly changed the language of cinema. Moreover, the selection of this particular film foregrounds the creative dialogue between photography and cinema, two media that share common narrative and aesthetic origins.
