Faithful to its appointment and supporting for another year the Southeastern European, Mediterranean and Greek cinema, Agora, the development part of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival that has been supported for years by Creative Europe Media, invites filmmaker to submit their film projects and films to the sections Agora Film Market, Crossroads Co-production Forum and Agora Works in Progress, in the framework of the 62nd Thessaloniki Film Festival (4 - 14/11/2021).
The Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is the first in Europe to present a new podcast section, exploring the eclectic affinities of this new genre with cinema, as part of the 23rd TDF from June 24 to July 4, 2021.
The Festival announces that, due to the restrictions caused by the measures taken for the pandemic of COVID-19 and the lower participation of English-language podcasts, the podcast competition section of the hybrid 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival includes podcasts in both Greek and English.
One of the first film markets in the world that was organized digitally when the pandemic broke out, Agora Docs innovates again, by using all availale tools and new technologies, in order to present new actions and to support successful initiatives in a hybrid event that will take place in physical spaces and online.
