This year’s edition will take place as a hybrid event: It will start on March (4-14/3) and will culminate in a documentary celebration that will take place from June 24 until July 4, 2021, in the Festival’s physical spaces, if the conditions allow, and online.

The Thessaloniki International Film Festival and its people bid farewell to Dimitri Eipides, the creator and founder of the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, and for years director of the institution. Dimitri Eipides, who created the section New Horizons, opening a window to a great cinema, which was unknown to Europe until then, passed away on Wednesday.
Olympion and Warehouse 1 win Europa Cinemas Programming Award
