He was born in Saint-Quentin, France in 1958. After studying Journalism and briefly working for an advertising company, he joined Canal+ in the late eighties and began writing and starring in hit comedy shows. In 1998 he wrote and played the lead role in the comedy Michael Kael contre la World News Company. In 1999 he met Gustave Kervern.Together they wrote and directed the comedies Aaltra and Avida, in which they also starred.

He was born in Mauritius, in 1962. He started working in television and radio. In 1999 he met Benoît Delépine with whom he wrote the successful TV comedy Grolandsat. The black comedy Aaltra, the duo’s first feature film, screened at numerous international festivals.This was followed by the metaphysical, absurdist, surrealist comedy Avida, which screened out of competition at Cannes in 2006.
