Vassilis Kyriakidis has been a substitute teacher for ten years. For the last five, he has been teaching on the island of Fournoi, from choice rather than necessity. The fragile “normality” of a substitute teacher’s life, the uncertainty, the nomadism, the loneliness, the talent in packaging, the sincere love for children, are part of our narrative.
