Lemebel

A biographical treatment of the life of Chilean visual artist and writer Pedro Lemebel – a journey through creative art and resistance in a conservative society, all the way from his early years to his exploding as a star on stage and an emblem of queer culture. Consisted of videos and photographs of his private life, personal interviews and archival material from his most emblematic performances, the documentary portrays the uncompromised artist who became a queer symbol and defied, through his art, the Pinochet-era repression and terror.
