Agora Talk: “A powerful perspective”

Within the context of the Agora Talks of the 65th Thessaloniki Film Festival, a discussion titled “A powerful perspective” was held on Wednesday November 6th at the MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, in collaboration with Women in Film and Television Greece (WIFT GR). The panelists were: Fatih Abay, diversity and inclusivity officer at European Film Academy (Germany), Elena Athanasiadou, producer at Boo Productions (Greece), Chrysianna Papadaki, director and screenwriter (Greece) and Anna Germanidi, director of exhibition & programming from Modern Films (UK).

International Competition Jury

The members of the International Competition Jury are: Denis Côté, filmmaker; Sara Driver, filmmaker and producer; and Konstantinos Kontovrakis, producer.

Kostas Christides masterclass: “Scoring a Life Between Hollywood and Greece”

Kostas Christides’ masterclass titled “Scoring a Life Between Hollywood and Greece” was held on Tuesday, November 5th. The event took place within the framework of the Thessaloniki Film Festival’s Meet the Future action. This year’s Meet the Future foregrounds the art of film scoring through the tribute “Music in Motion: The Art of Film Scoring”.

Agora Works in Progress presentation

The presentation of the projects taking part in this year's Works in Progress of the 65th TIFF Agora took place on Tuesday, November 5th, offering an exciting look into the future of cinema. The Agora Works in Progress section of the Agora focuses on post-production projects from the regions of the Mediterranean and Southeastern Europe.

Zbigniew Preisner masterclass: "The Role of Film Music"

Prolific Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner delivered a masterclass titled "The Role of Film Music" on Monday November 4th, at Pavlos Zannas theater. The event was held within the framework of TIFF's Meet the Future action, which focuses this year on film scoring, hosting the tribute "Music in Motion: The Art of Film Scoring".

Agora Talk: “The Human Factor”

Within the context of the Agora Talks of the 65th Thessaloniki Film Festival, the discussion titled “The Human Factor” was held on Tuesday November 5th at MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, in partnership with the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE). The panelists were: Amanda Livanou, producer and founder of Neda Film, Vanya Rainova, producer at Portokal, and Ada Solomon, producer at Hi Film Productions.
