Prolific Polish composer Zbigniew Preisner delivered a masterclass titled "The Role of Film Music" on Monday November 4th, at Pavlos Zannas theater. The event was held within the framework of TIFF's Meet the Future action, which focuses this year on film scoring, hosting the tribute "Music in Motion: The Art of Film Scoring".

Within the context of the Agora Talks of the 65th Thessaloniki Film Festival, the discussion titled “The Human Factor” was held on Tuesday November 5th at MOMus-Thessaloniki Museum of Photography, in partnership with the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE). The panelists were: Amanda Livanou, producer and founder of Neda Film, Vanya Rainova, producer at Portokal, and Ada Solomon, producer at Hi Film Productions.

The opening of the visual installation Interfears took place on Monday, November 4th, at MOMus–Experimental Center for the Arts (Warehouse B1-Port of Thessaloniki), attended by  Danish artist Jesper Just, to whom the 65th Thessaloniki International Film Festival’s hosts a tribute, as well as protagonist Matt Dillon, who honors this year’s Festival edition with his presence.
