Federico Veiroj

He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1976 and studied Social Communication at the Catholic University inMontevideo. He has been directing and producing short films since 1996. His last short film, As Follows, was screened in more than 60 festivals around the world and won the Best Film Award at the Gijon IFF 2004 and the Best Spanish Film at Cinemajove, Valencia 2005. Acne, his first feature film, was screened at the Directors’ Fortnight, at the Cannes IFF 2008.
