The special Non-Catalog issue of the 26th Thessaloniki IDF, which frames this edition’s extended tribute to iconic queer documentaries, includes diverse voices that run the gamut of film theory and practice – from directing and research to curation and journalism. Contributing authors highlight the cinematic tools that help build communities, foster another (sensual) gaze, write alternative, invisible his/herstories, and bring together an archive of those who claim visibility.
