A remarkable anniversary publication for the 20 years of the section “Balkan Survey”, the oldest and one of the most successful sections of Thessaloniki Film Festival. With a prologue by Dimitris Eipides, introductory text by the Head and Programmer of the section and editor of the publication Dimitris Kerkinos, texts by Michel Demopoulos, who as the Artistic Director envisioned and brought “Balkan Survey” to life, and a text by Dina Iordanova, the book is a celebration for its twenty years. The publication includes 17 films from all the Balkan countries, from the best films of the best directors which were screened in those 20 years, reviewed by acclaimed film critics with texts exclusively written for the publication. It is also including a functional index and the statistics of all the Balkan films which were screened at the festival.
