Thrilling documentaries from all over the world will be presented in the summer and hybrid 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival, that will take place from June 24 to July 4 in summer cinemas in Thessaloniki, as well as online. 

We present:

• The mobile app “e21” that brings the battles of 1821 to life
• The film – multimedia installation “The city and the city”
• A bilingual special edition

72 short and feature Greek documentaries will be screened in the 23^rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival that will take place in open-air theaters in Thessaloniki and online. 

The 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival will take place from November 4^th to November 14^th, 2021 and has the pleasure to announce that film submissions are now open.

Τhe submission process for the Podcast Competition section of the 23rd Thessaloniki Documentary Festival is extended until Monday, May 17, 2021 at 17:00 EEST, due to a delay created by the measures taken for COVID-19.

The Thessaloniki Film Festival and the Greek Film Centre invite filmmakers to submit their projects to the “Thessaloniki Goes to Cannes” event that will take place this July during the Marché du Film of the 74th Festival de Cannes (July 6-16 2021).
