FRANCOPHONE DAY
On Sunday, November 6, the 52nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival hosts the established Francophone Day, in collaboration with the francophone television network TV5 MONDE, the French Institute of Thessaloniki and the French Institute of Greece.
The events celebrating the Francophone Day include the screening of two films of recent production: the latest film by animation master Michel Oselot Les contes de la nuit / Tales of the Night (Olympion theatre, at 11.00 am), and the new film by brothers Jean – Pierre and Luc Dardenne Le gamin au velo / The kid with a bike (Olympion theatre, at 8.30 pm).
The films are part of the Festival’s Open Horizons section, which is one of TIFF’s sections funded by the European Union – European Regional Development Fund, in the framework of the Central Macedonia Regional Operational Program 2007-2013.
