Warehouse C

Three months after his passing, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Parallaxi magazine are honoring Chrysostomos Stamoulis, an academic theologist, musician, humanitarian, and cinephile.

He was a theorist who saw in the darkness of the movie theater not just a projection screen, but also a setting for revelation, gathering, and love. Once more, the theologist of light and heterogeneity meets the viewer’s gaze through the words of the interlocutors that will illuminate his journey through cinematic shots and theological fragments, seeking the true visage of the human being which taught us that there’s always light within the darkness. Moderated by journalist Υorgos Toulas.

Speakers: Metropolitan Filotheos of Thessaloniki; Thanassis Triaridis, writer; Manos Lamprakis, playwright, translator, and dramaturg; and Eva Nathena, filmmaker-artist.
