From the 90s onwards, Dimitris Kozaris has been using the method of video-montage to put together his own films out of fragments of older genre films, such as westerns, comedies or sience fiction. By mixing the appropriated material with his own audiovisual material, he gives new meaning to it and transfroms it into a lever of criticism on the one hand, and entertainment on the other.
