MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS

He was born in Shanghai. He moved at the age of five to Hong
Kong with his parents. He was recognized as one of the most
promising filmmakers, in 1988, with his first feature film As Tears
Go By. His film Days of Being Wild won five top prizes at the Hong
Kong Film Awards. Chungking Express was the first of his films to
break through into wide international distribution. Fallen Angels
consolidated his position as one of the most innovative storytellers
of our times. Happy Together earned the Best Director
Award at the Cannes IFF 1997. His latest, My Blueberry Nights, was
nominated for the Golden Palm at the 60th Cannes IFF.
