Film description
Lu Ta-mien replaces his older sister who works as a schoolteacher in a village. Lu Ta-mien begins teaching, trying to find out as much as he can about his students, while at the same time showing a particular interest in Chen, the school’s music teacher. At the same time, Lu Ta-mien starts taking an interest in local environmental issues. There is a lot of illegal fishing going on in the area (with the use of dynamite or electricity), and it’s having an impact on the fish populations.The young teacher talks to his students about the ecological repercussions of this activity in which, however, a lot of their parents are involved...
