Louise meets Nathan. She is able to dream again. This is also the story of her ailing brother, their mother, and the destiny of a wealthy Italian industrialist family. The story of a family that is disintegrating, an era that is ending, and a love that is beginning.


Born in Turin, she studied drama at the Jean Darel workshop, with Blanche Salant at the American Center and also attended Patrice Chereau’s Ecole des Amandiers in Nanterre. In 1983 she made her television, stage and screen debuts. On television in Paolina, la juste cause et la bonne raison by Francois Reichenbach, and on stage in Platonov directed by Patrice Chereau, with whom she was a frequently collaborator. Since then, she has been constantly working in television, theater and cinema. Her film Actresses won the special Jury prize at Cannes 2007, in the “Un Certain Regard” segment.
