Podcast Award

Since 2021, when the instagram account “The Green Post it” was created, she has been trying to express herself, create and take a stance through brief maxims. She graduated from the Athens Department of Mathematics and had her master’s degree in Applied Economics. She has worked as a podcaster (The Green Post it: The Podcast), a columnist on topics of culture, art and contemporary city culture, as well as a copywriter, a football analyst and a data analyst. She loves art and cinema, as she believes they have the power to shake people’s hearts by touching upon political, moral, existential and philosophical issues.

Kallia Papadakis is an author and a screenwriter. Her novel Dendrites was bestowed with the European Union Prize for Literature and has been translated to 12 languages up until now. Her debut screenplay for cinema, for the film September by Penny Panayotopoulou, received the Balkan Fund Project Development Award, as well as the Nipkow Program scholarship. Her script for the film Wishbone, also directed by Penny Panayotopoulou, was nominated for the IRIS Award for Best Screenplay of the Hellenic Film Academy. Her theater play Roots of Cotton, directed by Efi Theodorou, was staged at the Little Theater in Epidaurus in July 2022, and later published by Melani editions. She is a screenplay tutor at the Hellenic Cinema & Television School Stavrakos, and a script consultant at the Pop Up Film Residency program, in the Mediterranean Film Institute and ERT’s Microfilm program.

She has had more than 26 years of professional experience as a sound designer in the area of multimedia production, as well as in the fields of sound mixing and sound design, in short and full-length films, documentaries, animation, commercials and trailers, having teamed up with many distinguished Greek and international film directors, among whom Theo Angelopoulos, Nikos Panayotopoulos, Nikos Nikolaides, Pantelis Voulgaris. She has been awarded at the Drama International Short Film Festival and by the Hellenic Film Academy, having also earned honorary distinctions in many international film festivals.
