Isabel has just recovered her liberty and has one thing clear: she doesn’t want to lose it again. She therefore does not want to have anything to do with her recent past. Rufo, an old friend, shows up, causing a contradiction, due to the fact that she feels he is not the companion she needs. A relationship develops in which neither knows who is leaning on whom.To wake up and go and make a living and to share one’s intimacy is common practice among individuals, even among those without a roof. This particular home that has no walls isn’t that different from the other ordinary homes. It is the tenants that matter.

A Bee in August will be the reason for Haris’s worst nightmare! His other self! An idyllic, secluded beach which cannot be reached except by boat, is where Haris and his family decide to go – Haris and his wife Vassoula, his half-sister Hildegard, and Haris’s mistress Maria. Everything is going just fine on this beautiful August morning until Haris, who is allergic to bee stings, is stung by one! He immediately swells up and looks like a completely different person. His allergic swollen alter ego will claim a place for himself between him, his wife and his girlfriend, stirring up emotions, revealing secrets and eventually causing panic!

Focus: Contemporary Wars
A mockumentary that interweaves reality and fiction into the construction of a drama.The director has deceived and manipulated leading world politicians, as well as politicians in his own country, thereby creating a provocative, entertaining satire that gives food for thought.The film, however, develops into a moving story about two people who experience the love of their life. AFR is a comment on the reality of modern media and on events in the international political arena. Even if AFR at the beginning informs the viewer that it is an orchestration of an outrageous lie, the audience is left to ponder the question: Was it really a lie?

It’s a grey and rainy summer in Paris and a young woman,Aether, is going through a difficult period in her life. She quits her job as a Math teacher in a school, gives an end to a dreadful relationship and dreams of living in a Mediterranean country and dedicate herself to writing. To realize her escape she needs money which leads her into a risky endeavour. She plans to kidnap an infant that she will sell for 300,000 euros. Looking for a partner in crime, she places an ad on the internet.An unemployed man replies. Their cooperation will prove fruitless. September will find Aether working again in a private school, but with enough material for her first book.

Emilios Roukounas is a failed director who persuades his family to sell the hairdresser’s he inherited from his father in order to shoot his new movie, which he strongly believes is going to be a hit. The leading roles belong to the youngest son of the family,Tassos, who was recently discharged from a rehabilitation center, and his lover, Aglaia, who is as rich as she is untalented. The shooting begins, the money will be spent really fast, the family will reach its limits and the shooting will never finish. All of the above makes up the story of the movie that the director is trying to shoot, facing the difficulties of not being able to finish due to financial problems.

Auschwitz wasn’t what Sven, a young German, had in mind when he signed up to do his civil service abroad. For him, Auschwitz is a small town in Poland, a strange language, a concentration camp, all the musty greyness of high-school German history classes. To make matters worse, he’s got to care for an old man, Stanislaw Krzeminski, a former inmate who never left the camp. Besides having to endure Krzeminski’s haughty, gruff manner, Sven also has to put up with the barely concealed contempt of various locals. Luckily, there’s Ania, a young guide who lets Sven stay at her place. Yet within this push and pull of conflicting sensations grow love for Ania, compassion for Krzeminski, and the troubling, challenging realization about his own role in preserving the memory of this place...

Orked meets Alan, the brother of her first lover, and a friendship flourishes between them.The second story is about the muezzin Pak Bilal, who heads an institution of sorts and wants to help two prostitutes to build a new life.Two stories, two facets of today’s Malaysian family and religion.

Balkan Survey: Balkan Survey
It’s a very important trip for 45-year-old Ibro and his 14-year-old only son Armin. Coming from a small town in Bosnia, the father takes his son to a film audition in Zagreb.Armin is, of course, very embarrassed by this. Their goal of a movie carrier for Armin seems so close, but the first disappointment comes when the old Bosnian bus breaks down. They arrive too late for the audition. The father convinces the producers to give Armin a second chance. The director is not especially interested in Armin’s talents. Armin becomes more and more disappointed, while the father becomes more impassioned as he fights for his son’s carrier. Finally they get their chance but under the pressure Armin has an epileptic fit. Feeling guilty, Ibro desperately tries to prove they are not losers. In the end they both win something more valuable: love and respect for each other.

Balkan Survey: Nae Caranfil
Dora, Felicia, Graziella,Valentina and a few more Romanian beauties are fed up with this country where the money is always in someone else’s pocket and happiness is constantly being postponed till later. So they take off for Paris, intent on showing off their talent – and that’s not all – in the cabarets of the third zone. Marion – their agent-cum-watchdog-cum-mother-hen – is heading the expedition. But there’s something she’s unaware of: Dora’s husband, Andrei, is determined to get his wife back at any cost. Dora soon becomes Marion’s favorite, and the older woman will stop at nothing to come between the man and his wife. However, Andrei is no pushover and will not hesitate to break the law in order to get back his beloved...

In the midst of all this, Laura arrives searching for her brother Andres, Daniel’s neighbor. But her brother is not home and she decides to wait for him, meanwhile organizing around Daniel what could be his “perfect world”.

However, Marc cannot switch off and his brother takes him further south to a place where people come from afar to catch a fish with, so they say, cat whiskers.Without knowing it, the two brothers will lose themselves in an unknown landscape in which their grandfather lived a number of adventures, and they will meet drifters who will show them the way to a lost paradise.

How close can we get to other human beings? Is it possible to live a life completely devoid of love? Can someone, who has experienced what a fragile state of affairs shared happiness is, trust another again? Some chosen moments from the life of six people living in a huge sprawling conurbation of tower blocks built during the Soviet era. The gently stylized and indifferent world of Autumn Ball is steadily advancing towards winter and will not give any answers to these questions.What this world can demonstrate though is the possibility for laughter even there, where hope has long since become a sparse commodity.

That is, until he starts to work in his father’s restaurant without letting him know that he is his son. Gradually, they get to know each other, but what Mirush discovers about his father is not something he is prepared to take. He is forced to make choices that have important consequences, for both of them.

When winning a trip for two to a paradisiacal place called Playa Salamandra, Marina discovers she has no one to share her prize with, so she decides to invite Victor, a complete stranger, to travel with her.Together, they will find that in order to fall in love, the idyllic scenarios and perfect situations are not important. If the necessary compatibility to love doesn’t exist, there will be no way of looking into the other’s eyes with love.

The only interest she gets, albeit dubious, comes from the young man who is digging a cesspit beside her grandfather’s house...

Thousands of families still live beneath the statue of Buddha destroyed by the Taliban. Baktay, a six-yearold Afghan girl, is inspired into going to school by their neighbors’ son who reads in front of their cave. On her way to school, she is harassed by boys playing games cruelly mimicking their violent society. The boys want to stone Baktay or destroy her like the Buddha or shoot her like the Americans do in the labyrinth of caves. Will Baktay be able to overcome these obstacles in order to learn the alphabet of her mother tongue?

During the war in Kosovo, in 1999, in a small Romanian village, the chief of the railway station, who also happens to be the local gangster, stops a NATO train transporting military equipment.The transport, supervised by American soldiers, is crossing Romania without official documents, based only on verbal approval of the Romanian government.Their arrival changes the place into the village of all opportunities.
