TiDF AGORA
TIDF AGORA (6-14.03.2026), supported by Creative Europe-MEDIA, is the biggest annual event for documentary audiovisual works in Greece and the wider region. An international eight-day event, functions mainly as a bridge, connecting the documentary to the powerful medium of television, as well as the new digital distribution platforms.
TIDF AGORA promotes and supports the documentary medium from the stage of development to the financing, completion and distribution of the film. We are constantly aiming at developing activities which can enhance documentary filmmaking and documentary distribution.
TIDF AGORA includes the following activities:
THESSALONIKI PITCHING FORUM for documentaries in development, focusing on Southeastern Europe, and the Mediterranean region.
AGORA DOCS IN PROGRESS for documentaries in post-production focusing on Southeastern Europe, and the Mediterranean region.
AGORA XR LAB, TIDF AGORA’s new initiative, is a workshop dedicated to XR and new media projects in development.
AGORA BOOST for Greek documentaries in development and/or post-production stage.
AGORA DOC MARKET, Video-library for completed documentaries.
AGORA TALKS presenting new business models, practical tools and new trends
DOC COUNSELING, scheduled one-on-one meetings with documentary experts to discuss specific aspects of the film industry (marketing, pitching, festival strategies etc.).
TALKING HEADS, a dynamic platform reshaping the original form of masterclasses to foster inclusive and safe collective conversations, directly addressing the industry's needs.
Thessaloniki Pitching Forum
Thessaloniki Pitching Forum is a co-production and co-financing platform for creative, television and new media documentaries.
AGORA Docs in Progress
