ETEL ADNAN: WORDS IN EXILE

The 28th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival presents an accessible screening of Etel Adnan: Words in Exile, sponsored by Alpha Bank, as part of a tribute to the work of Greek filmmaker Vouvoula Skoura. The film will be screened with audio description (AD) for blind and visually impaired audiences and with subtitles for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (SDH). This year, the Festival introduces an additional innovation for Etel Adnan: Words in Exile, which includes English, French, and Arabic alongside Greek. The film will be presented with audio description in Greek, while dubbing in four languages will be available through the description channel. The ADdub initiative opens new possibilities for visually impaired audiences to access and enjoy international productions.
