28th THESSALONIKI INTERNATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FESTIVAL
5 MARCH → 15 MARCH 2026

The new bilingual platform filmography.gr transforms data on Greek cinema into a tool for knowledge and interpretation, connecting films, people, and historical context. With documented information and digitized materials covering more than 2,000 films, it reveals patterns and collaborations, offering general audiences, students, and professionals new and reliable ways to explore the history and industry of Greek cinema. The project is implemented by the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, the Hellenic Film Academy, and the Hellenic Film and Audiovisual Center – Creative Greece, with funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0,” and with the consortium “OTE & Uni Systems” serving as contractors. This introductory presentation of filmography.gr, which will be publicly available in April 2026, will be delivered by members of the project team: Konstantinos Aivaliotis, Eleni Androutsopoulou, Lazaros Boudakidis, Orsalia-Eleni Cassavetes, Anastasia Melia Eleftheriou, Manolis Kranakis, Gelly Mademli, Thanis Paraskevopoulos, Nikos Pastras, Ioanna Rampaouni, Zisis Simaioforidis.
