Honorary Golden Alexander to Yorgos Papalios

The 28th Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival honors the legendary film producer Yorgos Papalios, recognizing his tireless contribution to modern Greek cinema and local cultural film policy. In acknowledgment of his oeuvre, the festival will present him with an honorary Golden Alexander. The award ceremony will be followed by a screening of the portrait documentary Running on Waves, directed by Yannis Karapiperidis.
