Journalism has always been on the receiving end of attacks, but now it has come face to face with the economic crisis. As the crisis proceeds, interference in their work is growing and journalists have to decide whether they are going to abide by the dominant line or dare to follow a different path. Those who dare, risk not only losing their job or facing prosecution, but also their physical wellbeing. Oppression presents just a few of the cases which prove that the freedom of press is yet another victim of the Greek economic crisis.
