LOST YANNINA, A TOPOGRAPHY OF JEWISH MEMORY

Lost Yannina explores the impact of WWII on the space of the Greek city of Ioannina, as experienced by the few Holocaust survivors. Through their testimonies – collected between 2009 and 2024 – and their physical movement in the places mentioned in their narratives, humble loci of modern everyday life become powerful sites of memory.
