GR. WORK IN PROGRESS

Three Greeks try to take their future into their own hands. Could this crisis be our chance to re-invent ourselves and our society? Through the stories of the three protagonists, we experience the potential for a positive transformation in Greece today, moving from the bottom up. We follow the solitary Yorgos, who finds the strength to overcome his problems and rebuild his life. We go on to Grigoris’s family as it strengthens its bonds and seeks a better quality of life. Finally, our journey takes us to the activist volunteer group behind the “potato movement” (Elias). Its actions have a powerful impact on society by challenging the commercial food supply chain and practicing solidarity and direct democracy.
