FILM IST. A GIRL & A GUN

A drama film in five acts about one of the oldest topics in the history of cinema and mankind: the confrontation of sexes. A hypnotizing exploration of film as an expression of either Thanatos or Eros, which recalls Godard’s famous proclamation about the basic elements of narrative, assembling bits from ethnographic films, science documentaries, early porn reels, and scenes from 1930s narrative European features, making all boundaries between the genres collapse, and eventually suggesting a feverish celluloid dream – or nightmare.
