Greice, a 21-year-old Brazilian girl, studies at Fine Arts University in Lisbon. In the early days of summer, she gets involved with a mysterious guy: Afonso. The couple is accused of a strange accident that occurs at the student welcoming night party. Greice needs to return to Fortaleza, her hometown, to renew her residence permit. Hidden in a hotel, while preventing her mother from discovering the problems in which she was involved and with the help of some friends, Greice tries to find a place of comfort in the world.

Leonardo Mouramateus

Leonardo Mouramateus (Fortaleza, 1991) holds a Master's degree in Multimedia Art from the University of Lisbon and graduated with a degree in Cinema and Audiovisual from the Federal University of Ceará, maintaining permanent contact with the performing arts and dance dramaturgy. He wrote and directed films shown at several festivals such as Locarno, Viennale, IDFA, FidMarseille, Cinéma du Réel, and Bafici. Retrospectives of his work have been presented in Portugal, France, Colombia, and more recently at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Life Lasts Two Days, his second feature film, received an honorable mention from the jury of the FIDMarseille International Competition. Greice, his third film, is part of the 2024 International Film Festival Rotterdam selection.
