Sofia Priovolou

Sofia Priovolou (filmmaker and actress) studies Filmmaking at the Department of Film Production at SAE Creative Media College. She graduated from the Drama School of the Art Theatre Karolos Koun, from the Department of Linguistics – University of Athens, and from the Department of Cultural Management and Theory of Cinema of Paris III – Nouvelle Sorbonne. In January 2024, she co-directed with Jeo Pakitsas her first play The Life and Death of Jessica Brown at the Experimental Stage of the National Theatre of Greece, based on a screenplay she wrote. Dracaena is her debut short film.

Ioannis Panagiotidis

Ioannis Panagiotidis (filmmaker) studies at the Film Department of SAE Creative Media College. He works as a freelance videographer and editor in the advertising industry. He has worked as a director and director of photography with Sofia Priovolou in the film Dracaena. In 2020, he participated in the 10th international short film competition “Cinema Diavases?” with his short film LOST, which won the 2nd prize for fiction.
