If there weren’t any buses, would there be films? In March 2020, the window of my gaze narrowed down. City life almost ceased. Non-essential movements were prohibited, and cinemas closed. I don’t know what I miss the most, cinema or a Νon-Essential Movement.

Nikoleta Leousi

Born in Athens in 1981, Nikoleta Leousi first studied Chemical Engineering and then pursued Film Studies in Greece and the UK. Non-Essential Movement is her second film that is not entirely fiction.
