Yiannis Christoforou

Yiannis Christoforou is a Cypriot filmmaker based in Athens. He is a Berlinale Talents alumnus and a Filmmaking graduate from NYU – SCE (School of Continuing Education). He also received a scriptwriting scholarship masterclass from the Script Factory in London, during the Göteborg’s Film Festival educational programmes. To this date, he has directed and produced a few short films that have participated in festivals worldwide. Yiannis also works extensively in animation and has directed commercially and artistically acclaimed projects including commissioned works. In 2018, he founded Decoy Images, a production company offering audiovisual content of high quality and aesthetics. He is a member of the Directors Guild of Greece and ASIFA Hellas.
