A husband and his wife, plunged into professional stress, are desperately trying to find a babysitter for their little daughter. An elderly couple, with the husband entering the early stages of dementia, is offering a helping hand. A judge who views the upcoming sentence (and imprisonment) of his reckless son, who killed a woman while driving drunk, as an ideal reformation of character, is causing his wife to immerse into a silent sorrow. A woman forced to give birth all alone, as her husband is away working in oil rigs, suffers from postnatal depression and delusions. In three floors, a joyride of malicious suspicion, acts of revenge, secrets, and unconfessed desires weave the mosaic of human coexistence, bound to remain incomplete and deficient.
