The Human Voice

Human Voice

61st TIFF: Greek premiere

A woman is waiting for her ex-lover to pick up his suitcases. She goes out to buy an axe and a can of gasoline, while undergoing all sorts of moods, from despair to loss of control and suicidal tendencies. After three days, the phone rings and we hear nothing but her voice. She seems calm, although she verges on the abyss. Pedro Almodóvar’s short featuring stunning Tilda Swinton unfolds the painful adventure called living and loving.
