A luminous biographical animation by Sylvain Chomet (The Triplets of Belleville, The Illusionist) revisits the life and work of Marcel Pagnol, a towering figure of both theatre and early sound cinema, in The Magnificent Life.

The second part of the Thessaloniki Cinematheque’s grand tribute to comedy (April 02-05/04), hosted at the Stavros Tornes theatre, brings together six of the most iconic and irresistibly funny moments in the history of the genre, spanning from the 1970s to the early 21st century.
