With beloved actor Fanis Mouratidis as the host, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Evia Film Project, Thessaloniki International Film Festival’s green initiative, took place on Tuesday 2nd, July at "Apollon” open-air movie theater of Edipsos. The audience was welcomed by the Festival’s General Director Elise Jalladeau and the Artistic Director Orestis Andreadakis, who went on to address a greeting, and on behalf of the Festival’s Board of Directors, President Eleftheria Thanouli, Vice-president Gregory Vardarinos, and board member Maria Kriara.

The 3rd Evia Film Project, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival’s green initiative, is gearing up for its summer get-together with the audience. Film screenings, masterclasses, networking activities for professionals, workshops for children and young people, music events and gastronomy compose the 5-day celebration of green cinema in Northern Evia. The 3rd Evia Film Project is carried out with the support of the Ministry of Culture from July 2nd to July 6th in Edipsos, Agia Anna and Limni.

Our beloved Port is once again transformed into a breathtaking open-air cinema, inviting us to take delight under the night sky the British politically hued comedy Pride, directed by Matthew Wasrchus, on Thursday June 27th, at 21:30. Through the screening of Pride, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and Parallaxi are expressing their support towards the EuroPride Thessaloniki 2024 events. The screening is held in collaboration with the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the Thessaloniki Port Authority SA.
