Gypsy Music International Festival in Holland

Looking for the richness of gypsy music, "World Musicians" goes to Holland. Leonidas Antonopoulos travels to Tilburg for a festival that presents the music traditions connected to gypsies at the main stops of their centuries-long journey. Folk amusement with fakirs and acrobats from Rajastan, India, flamenco from Andalusia, rumba gitana from Barcelona, jazz and swing in the tradition of the great Django Reinhardt, and of course Balkan gypsy music. He also meets with Stephane Caro, the man behind the worldwide success of Taraf de Haidouks from Romania and he visits a gypsy camp, eats and a sings along with them and, just for a while, he experiences a Time of the Gypsies, totally different to established stereotypes.
