Ten days after the death of her boyfriend, Athena arrives in Skyros to lock up the summer house where they stayed together. For three days she opens windows and cupboards, unravels things and closes boxes. On the day of her departure, till the evening, with the home empty, Athena stands on the terrace next to the shore of the sea. (Motive Distinction by the Greek Film Center)

Mavra Peponi

She is a Greek filmmaker currently working in Los Angeles. She received a BA in Film and Video from Georgia State University in 2012, and worked for two years on a variety of film and TV sets, including Taken 3 (Luc Besson), Adult Swim, HGTV and Tyler Perry Productions. In May 2017 she received an MFA in Film Directing from California Institute of the Arts. She is an Onassis Foundation Fellow.
