The lives of three women and a young musician cross paths when night falls in Tehran – a modern metropolis where sex, drugs, and corruption are concealed by the authoritarian, theocratic regime. Rotoscoping animation technique (which is based on processing existing footage) is the most appropriate method of capturing the tension between harsh realism and the transcendental need of the Iranians to take a leap to a parallel universe, and creates a transfixing nocturnal nightmare.
