Ιn this science fiction comedy, certain babies don’t grow up and never cry – as they were born by genetic enhancement experiments with stem-cells – while other babies refuse to grow up, cry for attention, have “commitment issues,” and look for their mothers. A director from Austin, Texas (the Mecca of contemporary American independent cinema), cuts the umbilical cord that connects the so-called “masculinity crisis” with the obsession with professional and family accomplishment.
