The Fever

Following the recent passing of his wife, indigenous Justino, a security guard in Manaus’ immense dockyard, lives with his daughter, a nurse in the city hospital. When she announces her imminent departure for Brasília to study Μedicine, Justino develops a mysterious fever, whose cause and remedy are unknown to the doctors.A blend of reality and fiction, which goes beyond the confines of time and space, guiding us through a dream-like universe of unearthly fluidity and disconcerting simplicity.
