A girl takes the same route from her house to the sea every day. She carries a container with which she collects seawater. When she returns home and closes the door behind her, we stay outside the closed door. We will only enter the room at the very last moment.

Kostis Alevizos

Kostis Alevizos was born in Athens in 1988. He studied at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technological Educational Institute of Larissa, and later at Stavrakos School under scholarship. He has worked on various short films, includingThe Seed (2015) by Iphigeneia Kotsoni, Whack (2015) by Syni Pappas, Whale 52 (2016) and Vandals’ Era by Thanasis Trouboukis. The Weight of Sea is his first film.
