Patrick, aged 38, lives in a naturist campsite with his parents. He is devoid of any ambition and fully satisfied with his role as the invisible problem-solver handyman. His father’s death changes everything, violently expelling Patrick from his mediocrity paradise. He is crowned campsite director and forced to assume responsibilities for the first time in his life. Things are about to get worse when one of his hammers disappears, which causes Patrick to enter in a state of disorientation and shock. A breezy tragicomedy, which is gradually transformed into an existential quest for dignity.

Tim Mielants has directed two seasons ofLegion, created for FX, which was described as the “best superhero show on TV” by the Guardian. Mielants also directed The Terror, AMC’s thriller set in the Arctic, crime-drama The Tunnel, and all six episodes of the third series of Peaky Blinders. Patrick is his debut feature film.
