Beware of Children

Oslo, in a middle-class suburb. The daughter of a prominent Socialist Party member accidentally causes the death of a classmate, son to a high-profile right-wing politician. Parents, bereaved and shattered, the school staff, as well as the entire local community, are striving to cope with a traumatic situation, aggravated by a web of secret relationships and conflicted loyalties that binds them all together. To make matters even worse, contradicting versions of the tragic incident emerge, amplifying a sense of disorientation and purposelessness. A low-key character drama of miscommunication, where everyone is acquitted and liable at the same time.
