A fisherman living near a coastal village of Thailand, close to the border with Myanmar, finds an injured man lying unconscious in the forest. The stranger remains silent, but accepts his savior’s care with gratitude, as the two of them become friends. Until one day, the fisherman suddenly disappears at the dark sea and the stranger takes over his friend’s life – his house, his job and his ex-wife... A minimalistic parable about the mysteries parable on the politics of hospitality, where doses of magic realism immerse us into the dark waters of human nature and the liquid universe we call society.
